Build Your Perfect Parametric Mid-Range Equalizer Circuit

Description

This circuit represents an extension of the Mic-Line balance configuration, yet it’s adaptable to virtually any audio system. It’s comprised of two distinct sections: A) a conventional bass/treble unit, and B) a parametric unit for mid frequencies. Both sections may also be utilized individually or together, incorporating the necessary buffering components from preceding and subsequent circuits. The R2 component controls high-frequency response, allowing for adjustments of +/- 18 dB/oct at 20 kHz. The R5 element regulates low-frequency response, providing +/- 18 dB/oct adjustments at 20 kHz. The R11 element shapes the mid-frequency response, offering +/- 15 dB/oct variations, while the R10 component establishes the center mid-frequency point, operating within a 200 Hz to 6 kHz band.
